The Rescue Diver Programme is an accredited diver training programme by NASE Worldwide and the  Health and Safety Executive in the United Kingdom, in accordance with the "Diving at Work Regulations."

The programme has two Modules... Basic and Advanced. Both Modules are forty (40) hours in duration at a minimum and certification is based upon a Theory Examination and a demonstration of Competency.

Following certification and application of these competencies, certified divers may apply for Instructor Training in this area.

The minimum prerequisite for application to take Instructor training will include the following...
1.   Post certification Dives:
30 Open Water rescue/training dives.
10 Night Open Water rescue/training dives.
6 Swift Water rescue/training dives.
6 Confined Water rescue/training dives.
6 Hazardous Conditions rescue/training dives.

2.  Certificate of Fitness to Dive: In the United Kingdom this is the MA1A Medical of the HSE. If you will not be diving within the United Kingdom or the European Union, you must present proof of Fitness to Dive for the geographical region in which you will be located.
